About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and re‑architect highly distributed, large‑scale services that power DynamoDB’s global footprint.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and implementation plans.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and incremental feature launches.
• Own end‑to‑end development activities, from requirements gathering to production operations and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Amazon’s intellectual property through patents and publications.
