Software Developer with Security Clearance

About the role
Join GDIT as a Software Developer and contribute to cutting‑edge solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work on mission‑critical applications, gaining exposure to a collaborative, mentorship‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to research, design, develop, and modify enterprise‑wide systems and applications.
- Analyze requirements, participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to resolve technical and usability issues.
- Assist in creating models/diagrams, performing updates, testing, debugging, and documenting software.
- Utilize programming, analysis, design, testing, and documentation tools to build and maintain high‑quality software solutions.
Required profile
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of Linux development experience.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
Required skills
- C and C++ programming.
- Linux operating system.
- System/Software design principles.
- Version control with GitLab.
- Java development.
- Compilation using GCC and Make.
