Software Asset Management Analyst Intern

About the role

Join the Office of the CITO to gain hands‑on experience in Software Asset Management, IT governance, and technology operations. You will work with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to organize and improve software asset data in ServiceNow.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize and maintain software contract, licensing, renewal and entitlement documentation.
• Maintain software asset information in ServiceNow, perform data validation and quality checks.
• Support data imports, normalization, and reporting processes under guidance.
• Analyze inventory and usage data to identify trends, discrepancies and optimization opportunities.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards and presentations summarizing findings.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program (IT, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering or related).
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to maintain confidentiality of contract information.
• Effective communication and teamwork across departments.
