Social Production Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

The LA Kings are looking for a part‑time Social Production Assistant to help execute their social and content strategy. Working closely with the Social Specialist, you will support the creation, scheduling, and community management of content across all owned channels. This role is based in El Segundo, CA, with a mix of office work and on‑site support at select games.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Social Specialist to execute the content calendar for LA Kings, Kings Care Foundation, Bailey, and Ice Crew channels.
• Manage community interactions across all platforms, including comments and direct messages.
• Maintain and update the content calendar under the guidance of the Social Specialist.
• Assist with tagging posts for internal reporting and future analysis.
• Support content and production shoots both on location and in the office.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Passion for sports and live entertainment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university, preferably in Marketing, Communication, or Business.
• Located in the Los Angeles area.
• Willingness to work 80% onsite (El Segundo office) and 20% at home games.
