Social Media Coordinator

About the role

Savage X Fenty is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to power the day‑to‑day engine of its social presence. The role sits in the El Segundo headquarters and works closely with the Social Media Director and Manager to bring timely, culturally‑relevant content to life across TikTok, Instagram and other platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and other channels.
• Write and edit captions with a strong sense of tone, voice and cultural relevance.
• Lead community management, including comment moderation, real‑time engagement and audience interaction.
• Edit short‑form video using CapCut, adding text, sound and simple transitions.
• Create lightweight graphics and social assets in Canva.
• Identify trends, sentiment and notable community moments and flag them to the team.
• Support TikTok‑first content experimentation and Pinterest publishing, optimization and growth.
• Assist with asset organization, tracking and handoffs.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation or a related field (including internships or creator work).
• Strong understanding of how content performs on TikTok and Instagram.
• Interest in community building and brand voice, not just posting.
• Familiarity with Pinterest publishing and discovery mechanics.
• High attention to detail, especially in publishing, tagging and copy.
• Organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
• Genuine passion for social media and internet culture.

Required skills

• CapCut – comfortable cutting clips, adding text, sound and transitions.
• Canva – ability to create simple graphics and overlays for social assets.
