Social Media & Community Manager (Food & Bev / Comedy)

About the role

Our client, a leading global consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization, is looking for a Social Media & Community Manager to shape how its food & beverage and comedy‑focused brands engage with audiences in real time. You will own the day‑to‑day community strategy, ensuring the brand’s voice is human, responsive, and culturally relevant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute cross‑platform community engagement strategies aligned with audience behavior and brand objectives.
• Lead proactive and reactive engagement across comments, direct messages, mentions, and cultural conversations.
• Identify real‑time opportunities for brand participation in cultural moments and build scalable UGC frameworks.
• Drive fan‑engagement initiatives such as surprise‑and‑delight gifting, product sampling, and seeding programs.
• Serve as editorial lead for community interactions, establishing tone‑of‑voice guidelines and moderation standards.
• Monitor sentiment, trends, and behavioral signals; translate insights into rapid‑response campaigns.
• Manage risk by triaging sensitive interactions and coordinating escalations with PR, legal, and customer‑care teams.
• Track and analyze KPIs (engagement quality, sentiment, participation, response time) and contribute to performance reporting.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in community management, social engagement, or audience strategy.
• Proven success managing high‑volume brand social presences and moderation.
• Experience executing gifting, seeding, and advocacy programs.
• Strong fluency across major and emerging social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.).
