Snubbing Operator – Longview, TX

About the role

The Snubbing Operator is responsible for safely coordinating and overseeing snubbing units at well sites near Longview, TX. The role includes rig‑up and rig‑down of equipment, maintenance, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while on location.

Key responsibilities

• Verify hydraulic hoses, equipment startup, and proper connection of prime mover and hydraulic pumps.
• Operate snubbing unit controls and maintain continuous production according to standards.
• Perform rig‑up and rig‑down procedures, complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and log all activities.
• Maintain equipment, conduct daily safety inspections, and report deficiencies.
• Mentor snubbing assistants and other crew members.
• Monitor well‑control parameters and ensure safe driving practices when traveling between sites.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state‑issued Class A or B CDL with air‑brakes endorsement (preferred).
• Minimum two years of snubbing or work‑over rig experience.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook and Word).
• Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing ladders up to 15 ft.
