Site Superintendent & Project Manager – Austin

About the role

Unispace is expanding its Austin operation and seeks an experienced Site Superintendent / Project Manager to lead workplace fit‑out and tenant‑improvement projects across Texas. You will be one of the first senior construction hires, responsible for delivering high‑profile corporate interior projects on‑site while shaping the company’s local presence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for workplace fit‑out and corporate interior projects.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades to ensure seamless delivery.
• Drive programme schedules, quality standards, and health & safety performance.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, design, and construction teams to meet client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery partners.
• Contribute to establishing and growing Unispace’s Austin office.

Required profile

• Significant experience delivering commercial workplace fit‑out, tenant‑improvement, or corporate interior projects in a senior site leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors on complex projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to commute to Austin as the local office expands.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of fit‑out sequencing and delivery processes.
• Experience managing health & safety compliance on construction sites.
• Ability to drive programme performance and maintain quality standards.
