Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

BeyondTrust is building a new cross‑product Site Reliability Engineering team focused on AWS GovCloud environments that support FedRAMP‑authorized products. Key responsibilities

• Design, provision, and operate multi‑account AWS GovCloud environments using IaC (Terraform) with guardrails, logging, and security tooling.
• Create and manage release and update pipelines for cloud fleets, including mandatory security updates, staged rollouts, and verification of patch deployment.
• Develop a continuous‑compliance evidence pipeline that collects, normalises, and reports FedRAMP Key Security Indicators on a regular cadence.
• Instrument production systems with telemetry, SLOs, dashboards, and alerting that are owned and acted upon by the team.
• Consolidate CI/CD pipelines for build, signing, artifact management, quality gates, and security scanning across product teams.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for the GovCloud estate, engineering recurring incidents away.

• Hands‑on experience with AWS GovCloud and multi‑account cloud architecture.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise, especially Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP compliance and security controls.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines, automated release processes, and security scanning.
• Experience with monitoring, SLO definition, dashboard creation, and alerting systems.
