Site Reliability Engineer III

About the role

We are looking for a security‑focused Site Reliability Engineer III to lead the design, automation and operation of secure, resilient cloud platforms. The role will drive security observability, compliance‑as‑code and AI‑enhanced monitoring across commercial and government environments, ensuring high availability and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain OpenTelemetry Gateway integrations to forward security telemetry to SIEM platforms.
• Build and sustain observability, logging and alerting for security events across cloud and on‑premise systems.
• Collaborate on SIEM integration, anomaly detection and AI‑driven observability, creating dashboards and proactive alerts in Grafana.
• Define and report operational metrics and reliability KPIs.
• Automate compliance controls and policy enforcement in CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Checkov and GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain policy/compliance data pipelines, including normalization, drift detection and scorecard automation.
• Design secure, automated infrastructure that enforces compliance‑as‑code and supports government cloud frameworks.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in site reliability engineering with a strong focus on cloud security.
• Proven ability to design, implement and operate highly available, secure systems.
• Hands‑on experience automating compliance and policy enforcement in CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with government‑level cloud compliance requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with development, security and operations teams.
