Site Director (School Age OST)

About the role

The Site Director oversees the School Age Out-of-School Time (OST) program, ensuring high‑quality services that promote academic growth, social‑emotional development, and health and wellness for children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise OST program staff and curricula aligned with EEC licensing standards.
• Maintain safe, healthy, and engaging program environments and ensure compliance with licensing and QRIS requirements.
• Manage attendance, children’s files, evaluations, and reporting to parents and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee payroll, personnel files, transportation logistics, and financial accounts in partnership with the Business Manager.
• Communicate program information to parents, community networks, and participate in YMCA annual campaigns.

• Demonstrates caring, responsible, honest, and respectful conduct as a role model for staff and families.
• Prioritizes child safety and emotional well‑being, using positive and constructive guidance methods.
• Ensures program quality consistent with YMCA mission, including curriculum delivery, staff meetings, professional development, and special events.
• Maintains accurate documentation and compliance with state and YMCA initiatives.
