Shop Foreman

About the role

Lead the shop operations at CarCare, overseeing a dynamic team of technicians and ensuring high‑quality, efficient repairs for both import and domestic vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor technicians, assign tasks, monitor progress, and enforce safety and workmanship standards.
• Manage shop workflow from diagnostics to repairs, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with service advisors on estimates.
• Conduct quality inspections, maintain accurate records, and implement process improvements.
• Enforce shop policies, manage inventory, and coordinate scheduling and resource allocation.

Required profile

• 8+ years hands‑on automotive experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership ability, team motivation, conflict resolution and performance enhancement.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with shop management software, warranties and safety protocols.
• ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent highly preferred.
