About the role
The Shipping/Packer associate processes and packs all onsite orders, handles receiving activities, and operates forklifts while adhering to safety practices.
Key responsibilities
- Use company software to process and package customer orders for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments.
- Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklift trucks to load outgoing material and unload incoming material.
- Label material according to customer specifications and move it to designated locations.
- Maintain a clean warehouse environment and follow all safety procedures.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience.
- Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive hand tasks, and lift up to 50 lb.
- Good verbal and written communication, math skills, and attention to detail.
- Availability for first‑shift hours, Monday‑Friday 6:00 am‑4:30 pm.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (sit‑down and stand‑up).
- Computer proficiency for inventory and data‑entry systems.
