Shift Supervisor

About the role

Red Robin is hiring Shift Supervisors for its restaurants in Nampa. The hourly shift supervisors manage day-to-day operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management. Selected candidates and current team members receive on-the-job training for management tasks and leadership growth, and may also work other hourly roles they are certified in, scheduled according to restaurant need.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts
• Serve as an ambassador of company and brand equity standards to protect guest loyalty and maximize profits
• Resolve guest issues, optimize profits, and ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness

Required profile

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 1 year of full-service restaurant experience preferred
• Record of maintaining high standards in cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction
• Business maturity and ability to supervise peers
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays; reliable transportation required
• ServSafe certification preferred

Required skills

• Oral and written communication, leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Basic business math and accounting, and analytical and decision-making skills
• Basic personal computer literacy
