Shift Supervisor

About the role

Red Robin is hiring Shift Supervisors for its high-volume, full-service restaurant in Wesley Chapel. Supervisors manage day-to-day operations during mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management, and candidates and current team members who show the company's values may be selected for the role. Selected people receive on-the-job training for management tasks and leadership growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations during scheduled mid and closing shifts.
• Serve as an ambassador of company and brand equity standards to protect guest loyalty and maximize profits.
• Resolve guest issues, optimize profits, and ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Work alongside other hourly roles they are certified in, scheduled according to restaurant need.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and ability to supervise peers; high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays, with reliable transportation.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Required skills

• Good oral and written communication, leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting, and analytical and decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
