Shift Manager

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Shift Manager to lead our restaurant team during each shift. You will ensure that every guest receives fast, accurate, and friendly service while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise each shift schedule, including crew assignments and break times.
• Monitor performance throughout the shift to meet McDonald’s quality, service and cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory, food safety procedures and daily maintenance tasks.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Communicate hand‑over information to the incoming Shift Manager.
• Support department goals by tracking profitability and meeting target metrics.

Required profile

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail or hospitality setting.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and develop crew members.
