Shift Leader – Fast‑paced Restaurant Team Lead

About the role

The Shift Leader drives the restaurant’s daily performance, leading the team with energy and ensuring every guest receives a great experience. You’ll manage staff, handle customer issues, and support business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and train staff during the shift, ensuring proper break coverage and task assignments.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, resolve complaints promptly, and keep the dining area clean and welcoming.
• Oversee food preparation, inventory ordering, cash handling and register management.
• Monitor health, safety and sanitation compliance, and perform opening/closing procedures.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer‑facing restaurant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and work an average 40 hours/week, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic computer skills and cash‑handling/POS operation.
