Shift Leader – Fast‑Paced Restaurant Team

About the role

The Shift Leader drives the restaurant’s daily performance, leading the team with energy and passion to meet Taco Bell’s high standards. You’ll resolve customer concerns, ensure a great guest experience, and partner with management on business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and manage staff during the shift, assigning tasks and managing breaks.
• Train new employees on procedures, guest experience and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, stocked and operational restaurant throughout all hours.
• Handle guest complaints calmly and turn problems into positive outcomes.
• Oversee food preparation, service delivery, inventory ordering and cash handling.
• Monitor equipment, health‑safety regulations and ensure proper cash reconciliation at shift end.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old; high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer‑facing restaurant experience.
• Preferably 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Willingness to obtain a food‑handler certification.
• Ability to pass a background check and fluently speak English.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health/food safety and restaurant operations.
