Shift Coordinator – Production (PA2) – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Shift Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all associates in a designated production area during the second shift at Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center. You will ensure proper staffing, maintain production standards, and support a safe, collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and approve vacation requests to meet production needs.
• Communicate overtime schedules and coordinate overtime staffing.
• Update and track daily exception reports for the time analyst.
• Post weekly absence reports on the Value Stream bulletin board.
• Maintain the qualification matrix and coordinate weekly payroll upgrade forms.
• Reinforce escalation processes for pay‑related topics and support investigations.
• Run and coordinate the shop floor based on production demands, guiding and directing associates.
• Handle issues as they arise and escalate to management when necessary.
• Use SAP to look up materials and support material flow.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and use hands effectively.
• High integrity and flexibility to adapt to shifting production needs.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a desire to lead and support colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Knowledge of BPS and 6S standards.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and adjustment capabilities.
