Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center as a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift. You will support the startup and implementation of production operations, learn the process firsthand, and help develop local work instructions and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support startup and implementation of production at the Lincolnton facility.
• Learn and document processes, develop work instructions and standards.
• Travel overseas for extended training periods.
• Communicate regularly with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and other departments.
• Train and monitor new production associates on the shift, providing timely feedback.
• Load, unload, operate, adjust, change‑over, and maintain multiple machines.
• Conduct 5S activities and assist in troubleshooting.
• Meet daily production targets and escalate any deviations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (technical or vocational schooling a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience with brazing processes or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to learn new processes, machines and technology.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime.
• Physical ability to stand, be mobile for 8 hours and lift up to 40 lb.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to read and follow instructions.
• Math skills appropriate to a machining environment.
