SharePoint Specialist – Information Security Governance & Documentation

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented SharePoint Specialist to support our Information Security organization. You will design, build, and maintain SharePoint sites that store security policies, procedures, audit evidence, and RFP responses, ensuring they are version‑controlled, searchable, and audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain structured SharePoint sites for security governance documentation.
• Organize centralized repositories for policies, standards, audit evidence, and compliance artifacts.
• Implement version control, approval workflows, and document lifecycle management.
• Support teams in keeping documentation aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA and other frameworks.
• Maintain audit‑evidence libraries and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
• Manage content libraries for RFP and security questionnaire responses.
• Configure access controls, permissions, and security settings in line with IAM policies.
• Develop workflows and automations using SharePoint, Power Automate, or related Microsoft 365 tools.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, IT, Legal, and Audit teams to ensure consistency.
• Provide training and guidance on SharePoint usage and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in SharePoint administration or documentation management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
