ServiceNow System Integration Test Manager

About the role

The Digital Modernization Sector is hiring a System Integration Test Manager to support the Global Solutions Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract at DISA. The contract covers operations, sustainment, maintenance, repair and defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network, plus support to DISA's mission partners. The role works in a fast-paced Agile team to verify and validate changes to the ServiceNow system and to develop more efficient test techniques through automation testing. On-site presence at Fort Meade daily is required.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the team to deliver quality software using Agile Scrum development and test practices.
• Create automation tests using the ServiceNow Automation Test Framework (ATF) and implement continuous automated regression testing.
• Analyze capability requirements, help define testable acceptance criteria in user stories, and test ServiceNow capabilities built in sprints.
• Support independent testers with test procedures, take part in sprint reviews and planning, and mentor junior developers.
• Translate functional requirements into test cases, run regression tests against operational test scenarios, and prepare test reports with anomalies and errors.
• Support customer demonstrations, data preparation and UAT, and use Jira to track defects and testing updates.
• Help maintain the validation portion of the requirements traceability matrix and support software configuration management.

Required profile

• US citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance, with a Security+ certification obtained within 14 days of hire (DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher).
• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a master's with 6-10 years; additional years of experience can substitute for a degree.
• Ability to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Fort Meade, MD or Ogden, UT for full-time on-site support.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform, including its modules (Discovery, Event Management, Scripting, Service Mapping, Business Rules, Workflows, Service Catalog).
• DevOps, continuous integration tools, source control tools and agile development and testing.
• Preferred: 3-5 years of ServiceNow administration, experience with ServiceNow ATFs, ITIL foundation or certification, AWS cloud certifications, Jira and Confluence.
