Service Technician – Solace at the Ranch

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas at Solace at the Ranch meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. The role involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and work in all weather conditions.
• Physical capacity to lift 25 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on call.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where required.

Required skills

• EPA Certification Type 1 for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Certification Type II for refrigerant recycling.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
