Service Technician – Residential Property Maintenance

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that all physical aspects of the Villas at Old Concord – including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This hands‑on position supports resident satisfaction through timely repairs and preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service activities accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical and technical issues and perform repairs safely.
• Strong organizational skills for managing work orders, inventory, and documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite and handle physical tasks associated with property maintenance.
