Service Technician – Residential Property

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that all physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role supports residents by addressing maintenance requests and performing preventative upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance across the property to reduce future breakdowns.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed, obtaining any required permits.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and follow up on outstanding tasks.

Required profile

• Technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve building defects.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and local building codes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders and vendor schedules.
• Ability to work independently onsite and provide excellent service to residents.
