Service Technician – Madison at Melrose

About the role

The Service Technician – Madison at Melrose supports the day‑to‑day operation of Greystar’s residential community in Richardson, Texas. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform corrective repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and applicable codes.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to keep building systems operating efficiently.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and update work order systems.
• Ensure all repairs and installations comply with local building codes and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose the source of defects and determine appropriate repair actions.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes and Greystar’s maintenance procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple work orders and coordinate with external vendors.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship and maintaining a safe environment for residents.
