Service Technician – Hale Haukani Student Living

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Hale Haukani student living community meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, track usage, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to ensure compliance with quality and specification standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in property or building maintenance.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• HVAC knowledge and relevant certifications.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart on larger properties).
