Service Technician – Aven Ridge

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team at the Aven Ridge community in Leander, Texas. The role involves maintaining the physical condition of the property, its amenities and common areas to ensure safety, appearance and functionality for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with company policies and safety codes.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks across the property to reduce future breakdowns.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors and ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and time spent on each task.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety standards and Greystar procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities or property service roles.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical manuals.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
