Service Technician – Alpine Prairie Village

About the role

The Service Technician at Alpine Prairie Village ensures that the building’s physical components, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, participating in routine safety meetings.
