Service Supervisor – Avana River Park

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the physical aspects of Avana River Park – including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time onsite position involves both technical repairs and coordination of make‑ready processes for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant apartments: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, obtain supplies, complete repairs and inspect finished work.
• Track and manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, returning unused items and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and OSHA training.
• Ability to inspect contractor work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Willingness to conduct routine property inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns.

Required skills

• EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart where applicable).
