Service & Delivery Technician III – IT Support for Safeway Stores

About the role

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Service & Delivery Technician III to provide on‑site IT support for Safeway grocery stores in Honolulu and surrounding areas. You will install, configure, and maintain a variety of retail‑specific hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and install new hardware and software at Safeway stores.
• Repair and perform break‑fix on PCs, servers, network devices, RF equipment, printers, POS systems, scales, and network servers.
• Provide remote and on‑site troubleshooting to meet service level agreements.
• Maintain equipment inventory controls and policies.
• Collaborate with the Support Center and corporate IT groups for issue escalation and resolution.
• Travel up to 25% to outer islands (Hawaii, Maui, Kauai) as needed.

Required profile

• Experience delivering IT technical support in a retail environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, configure, and repair a range of retail hardware.
• Willingness to travel regularly to multiple store locations.
