SEO Strategist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to lead enterprise‑level organic search initiatives for a global cybersecurity and cloud‑native protection leader. This remote contract role focuses on technical SEO, content strategy, and emerging AI‑driven search technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies that boost organic visibility and performance.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and comprehensive SEO audits.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, web, and engineering teams to optimize on‑page and technical SEO elements.
• Lead technical initiatives such as site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data implementation.
• Support Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve discoverability on AI‑driven platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and recommend improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm changes, AI search trends, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 6+ years of SEO experience with a strong track record in B2B or enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and AI‑focused search (AEO, GEO).
• Proven ability to drive measurable organic growth.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
