SEO Strategist – Drive Organic Growth

About the role

VIIRL Marketing is seeking an SEO Strategist to join its North Scottsdale office. You will work closely with the SEO Manager to develop and execute organic search programs for service‑industry clients across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve rankings and drive high‑quality traffic.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, search‑intent analysis, and SERP assessments.
• Perform content gap analysis and optimize on‑page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
• Run technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve architecture, crawlability, indexation, and site‑speed issues.
• Analyze performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush and other tools, delivering actionable insights.
• Stay current with algorithm updates, industry trends, and best practices.
• Manage local SEO components, including Google Business Profiles, citations, and third‑party listings.
• Coordinate with paid search, creative, and operations teams for integrated marketing strategies.
• Execute off‑site link‑building campaigns to boost domain authority.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SEO Strategist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Ability to evaluate SEO opportunities and prioritize high‑impact actions.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience reporting on key metrics.
