SEO Manager – Remote (U.S.)

About the role

GAVL, a fast‑growing digital marketing agency that serves law firms across the United States, is looking for an experienced SEO Manager. This fully remote position will lead SEO strategy and execution for multiple client websites, driving organic traffic, leads and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies for a portfolio of law‑firm clients.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and comprehensive SEO audits.
• Create and manage SEO roadmaps, prioritize implementations and monitor rankings, traffic and conversion metrics.
• Perform technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, site‑speed and Core Web Vitals issues.
• Collaborate with content writers to craft content strategies that improve rankings and traffic.
• Optimize on‑page elements such as metadata, internal linking, site architecture and content.
• Monitor backlink profiles and identify opportunities to strengthen domain authority.
• Track and report on SEO KPIs, providing actionable recommendations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with algorithm updates, AI search developments and emerging SEO technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience with measurable results.
• Strong understanding of on‑page, off‑page, local and technical SEO.
• Experience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis and SEO audits.
• Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities and communicate findings clearly.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
