Senior Web Communications Specialist

About the role

The Senior Web Communications Specialist will lead the enterprise‑wide web strategy for Texas A&M College of Engineering and the Engineering Experiment Station. This role ensures that all website content aligns with brand standards, supports storytelling, and drives marketing objectives across the engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish engaging content for COE and TEES websites.
• Interpret campaign and project analytics to refine future web tactics.
• Collaborate on major website redesigns and oversee content creation.
• Review and update web content requests to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Audit existing pages using SiteImprove or similar tools to ensure accessibility and SEO compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in web communications, content governance, and digital marketing within a large organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with strategic communications and engineering teams.
