Senior Vice President Operations

About the role

Our client, a privately‑held manufacturer of customized ingredient solutions for the food and beverage sector, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations. The executive will steer manufacturing, supply chain, quality and operational planning across multiple U.S. facilities, ensuring the organization can sustain growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, supply chain, quality and operational planning for several production sites.
• Develop and execute strategies to boost operational efficiency, capacity utilization and cost performance.
• Maintain strong quality and regulatory compliance, adhering to food‑safety standards and industry regulations.
• Partner with commercial and technical teams to support product development, commercialization and customer‑driven innovation.
• Establish and monitor operational metrics and performance indicators to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Direct capital planning for facility upgrades, equipment investments and scalability initiatives.
• Build and develop high‑performing leadership teams in manufacturing, engineering and supply chain.
• Foster a culture of operational discipline, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in food ingredients, food manufacturing, flavor manufacturing or related process‑manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site manufacturing operations and supply‑chain functions.
• Deep understanding of regulated food production environments and quality systems.
• Experience driving operational improvements, process optimisation and facility expansion.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams supporting innovation, technical development and customer‑facing functions.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
