Senior UX/UI Designer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing vertical SaaS company focused on elective medicine, looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to own the end‑to‑end design of client websites. This individual contributor role will shape the visual and interaction experience across a diverse roster of practice partners, working remotely with a preference for candidates near Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete client websites from information architecture and user flows to high‑fidelity UI and interactive prototypes.
• Create mobile‑first, responsive layouts that adapt across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.
• Lead interaction design alongside visual design, defining micro‑interactions, motion, and accessibility standards.
• Build and maintain Figma component libraries and design systems that scale across multiple brands.
• Produce clean developer handoff specifications, including spacing, typography, component states, and breakpoint behavior.
• Present design decisions confidently to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback quickly.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented designer who can explain every design decision and justify trade‑offs.
• Strong portfolio of shipped websites demonstrating end‑to‑end ownership.
• Ability to reduce complex briefs into clear, simple, and deep design solutions.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including copywriters and developers.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including auto‑layout, components, variants, and design tokens.
• Deep understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Expertise in responsive design, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals.
