About the role
PUNCH Cyber Analytics Group is seeking a focused, self‑motivated Senior Threat Hunt Analyst to join its remote team. The role involves performing technical analysis, adversary tracking, and sharing knowledge across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence activities in a Security Operations Center environment.
- Develop, tune, and refine advanced hunting techniques using data sets such as Censys, Shodan, VirusTotal, PassiveTotal, and DomainTools.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center.
- Strong hands‑on computer and networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, and major Internet protocols.
Required skills
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security in an operational setting.
- Familiarity with APT adversary tracking, diamond model, ATT&CK framework, and cyber kill chain concepts.
- Exposure to MISP for indicator management (a plus).
