Senior Technical Support Engineer & System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a senior technical support engineer and system administrator to provide remote IT services for a growing IT service business. The role involves handling complex technical issues, automation, and cybersecurity across Windows and macOS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote support via Teams, email, ticketing system, and phone.
• Serve as senior technical resource for ConnectWise PSA and ConnectWise Automate, including system upgrades and Azure troubleshooting.
• Lead automation and scripting in ConnectWise Automate using PowerShell.
• Deploy and manage cybersecurity tools such as SentinelOne and BlackPoint Cyber.
• Perform off‑hours maintenance on firewalls (SonicWall), wireless controllers, switches, servers and desktops.
• Deliver Tier 1–3 support for Windows 10/11 and macOS, including desktop, laptop, printer and network issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Maintain documentation of systems, tickets and procedures, and log time accurately.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead resolution of escalated issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or related field.
• 5–10 years of remote IT support experience, preferably in an MSP environment.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Reliable internet connection and availability during US Eastern business hours with flexibility for off‑hours work.
