Senior Technical Leader – Data Center Cooling

About the role

Moog’s Data Center Cooling (DCC) value stream is seeking a Senior Technical Leader to drive equipment effectiveness and manufacturing stability. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, you will lead cross‑functional initiatives that improve overall equipment effectiveness, process capability, and production performance across the DCC operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects that increase OEE, equipment reliability, throughput, capacity and asset utilization.
• Analyze equipment downtime, performance losses and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish and enhance process capability using statistical analysis, capability studies, validation and control methodologies.
• Drive improvements in yield, quality, cycle time and process robustness through data‑driven decision making.
• Facilitate and coach teams in A3 and 8D problem‑solving while leading investigations of operational, quality and manufacturing issues.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, validation and production ramp‑up activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, operational excellence or technical leadership.
• Proven experience improving OEE, process capability and manufacturing performance.
• Experience leading A3 and 8D problem‑solving efforts and conducting root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams with Operations, Quality and Engineering.
