Production Operator – DCC

About the role

Moog is seeking a Production Operator for its DCC line in Murphy, NC. The role involves assembling electromechanical motor components and ensuring product quality in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electromechanical products such as rotors, stators, and motor sub‑assemblies using provided documentation and tooling.
• Operate machine stripers, hand tools, drill drivers, and automated drivers to remove insulation, install connectors, and fasten components.
• Load, monitor, and perform final testing of motor/drive assemblies to verify performance specifications.
• Package completed assemblies and support cross‑training across all production operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Mechanical aptitude with good hand dexterity, color vision, and ability to lift 20 lb frequently (up to 40 lb occasionally).
• Experience with soldering or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to work safely around strong electromagnetic fields and magnets.
