About the role
ExxonMobil is looking for a Senior Tax Planning Advisor to join its Houston campus. The role involves providing expert tax advice on complex domestic and international matters, supporting major transactions and shaping tax strategies that drive business value.
Key responsibilities
- Advise business line and finance managers on major transactions, tax policy trends and tax savings opportunities.
- Develop and implement value‑added tax strategies across the Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses.
- Navigate domestic and international tax issues to support ExxonMobil’s competitive objectives.
- Collaborate with global functional groups to ensure alignment of tax planning with overall business goals.
Required profile
- Highly skilled and experienced senior tax professional.
- Proven ability to handle complex tax challenges within a large multinational corporation.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work on dynamic projects.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with finance and business leaders.
