Senior Tax Payroll Analyst

About the role

Wonder’s Finance Operations team is looking for a Senior Tax Payroll Analyst to own end‑to‑end payroll processing and tax compliance. You will partner with HR business partners and field managers to continuously improve payroll processes while ensuring accurate tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and review quarterly and periodic payroll tax filings submitted by ADP.
• Track federal, state, and local tax legislation and update Workday or ADP systems accordingly.
• Perform payroll tax reconciliations and review annual filings, including Form 941.
• Process W‑2 amendments and corrections in Workday and ADP, resolving discrepancies.
• Manage state withholding and unemployment tax accounts, including opening and closing accounts.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with high‑quality service.
• Create and maintain payroll standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of payroll processing and quarterly/periodic tax filing review experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to solve problems, maintain data integrity, and pay close attention to detail.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; Wonder does not sponsor visas for this role.
