Senior Systems Test Lead - Aerospace

About the role

A full-time, hybrid Senior Systems Test Lead position in the Greater Seattle Area, within Oliver Wyman's Vector aerospace practice. The Test Lead manages the execution of integration, verification and validation of onboard system software and mentors and leads more junior engineers through software verification and design assurance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of integration, verification and validation of onboard system software
• Mentor and lead junior engineers through software verification and design assurance processes
• Coordinate and collaborate, including periodic audits, to align software design and verification with higher-level planning documentation
• Plan, execute and troubleshoot complex software systems integration to validate interface definitions and system requirements of airplane network systems
• Guide the successful completion of major programs

Required profile

• Minimum of nine years of prior relevant experience
• Experience leading test programs compliant with airplane software certification using RTCA DO-178C
• Proven experience interacting with senior external personnel on significant technical matters
• Ability to author certification or process documentation and optimize existing processes
• Accredited degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry; ABET accreditation preferred

Required skills

• Systems software validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis and systems integration
• DOORS or similar requirements development and management tool
• Preferred: Linux, Unix, git, JIRA, ARP4754, airplane networks and communication, and test procedures and lab testing
