Senior Systems Engineer – Test Equipment Design

About the role

Moog offers a performance‑driven culture where engineers tackle challenging technical problems. As a Senior Systems Engineer in the Space & Defense Group, you will design and develop hydraulic, electro‑hydraulic, electro‑mechanical, servo‑mechanism, and electro‑pneumatic components and systems used to test Moog’s products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new test equipment, assemblies, and processes to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Lead the design process, provide technical leadership, and coordinate work of other engineers.
• Develop system‑level requirements, decompose them to component levels, and verify test equipment.
• Design linear/rotary test equipment systems for development and production hardware.
• Perform hardware correlation, system integration, and verification testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience coaching or providing technical leadership to other engineers is preferred.
