Senior Systems Configuration Analyst

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is seeking a Senior Systems Configuration Analyst to support its suite of payments services. In this role you will configure, maintain, test, and troubleshoot business applications that process and settle financial transactions for thousands of institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently coordinate and perform configuration, setup, maintenance, testing, analysis and troubleshooting across Federal Reserve systems such as Fedwire Funds and Securities, FedLine® Solutions, FedACH®, and FedNow®.
• Obtain and authenticate financial‑institution documentation and conduct impact analysis for account creation, closure, or merging.
• Engage with financial‑institution accounting, business‑systems and technical resources to assess configuration impacts and ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Collaborate with internal system groups and partners to support interfacing business‑application systems.
• Provide complex operational and technical support, serving as a primary resource for resolving application and operational issues.

Required profile

• Advanced understanding of business‑application systems supporting Federal Reserve financial‑services offerings.
• Proven experience configuring and supporting large‑scale payment processing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to consult and educate internal and external stakeholders.
