Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager will design and execute sourcing strategies for key indirect and technology spend categories, driving cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier innovation across Zillow’s business.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end strategic sourcing initiatives, from opportunity assessment through award and implementation.
• Lead complex sourcing events, RFP/RFQ processes, and contract negotiations for technology, SaaS, and other indirect spend.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, technology, and business owners to define requirements and align sourcing strategies.
• Develop and maintain robust supplier relationships, including performance reviews and continuous‑improvement plans.
• Analyze spend data, demand forecasts, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and track savings.
• Implement best‑practice procurement processes and tools, ensuring compliance with Zillow policies.
• Monitor market trends, benchmarks, and regulatory considerations to inform category strategy.
• Lead executive‑level conversations with VP and SVP stakeholders, translating vendor issues into clear decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect or technology categories.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage commercial terms, pricing, and service levels.
• Excellent stakeholder management across finance, legal, and business functions.
• Data‑driven decision‑making with experience analyzing spend and supplier performance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
