Senior / Staff Product Manager, Maps

About the role

Radar is seeking a Senior / Staff Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of the Radar Maps Platform. This role is based at the company’s NYC headquarters and focuses on delivering a unified, developer‑friendly mapping solution.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the fast‑growing Radar Maps Platform.
• Collaborate with customers and prospects to understand map usage, migration challenges, and desired outcomes.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers and designers across backend, frontend, SDKs, APIs, UI components, and developer tools.
• Analyze data to identify gaps in coverage, accuracy, latency, or cost and work with engineering and data providers to close them.
• Write clear product specs, documentation, launch plans, and use AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and documentation.
• Run sprint planning, QA product experiences, and keep projects on track to ship high‑quality work quickly.

Required profile

• Experience leading product teams for location‑based or developer platforms.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to translate feedback into product improvements.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and ability to work closely with engineering and external data partners.

Required skills

• Maps APIs, geocoding, routing, address validation, and search.
• SDK development and integration for web and mobile.
• Data analysis and product analytics.
• Use of AI tools for design, prototyping, and documentation.
