Senior Software Engineer – Payment & Enablement Optimization

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Payment & Enablement Optimization program. The role focuses on advancing the customer experience strategy by designing, building, and maintaining scalable software solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software components and automation frameworks.
• Apply software design principles and architectural patterns to create maintainable, extensible, and secure testing and validation systems.
• Participate in system architecture discussions to ensure solutions are testable, observable, secure, and performant.
• Translate business and system requirements into technical solutions, test strategies, and validation models.
• Embed secure coding practices throughout development and testing, proactively identifying vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies across unit, functional, integration, system, and performance levels.
• Collaborate in Agile environments, contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design discussions.
