Senior Software Engineer – IT Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and management of application projects that support our IT infrastructure. The role blends integration of third‑party components with the creation of custom capabilities, while automating operations and maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and manage application projects that enhance IT infrastructure.
• Integrate third‑party components and build new custom software capabilities.
• Modify and improve existing code, recommending process improvements and automation.
• Collaborate with lead architects to design, build, and deploy applications.
• Support advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data‑intensive computational solutions.
• Participate in all SDLC phases, from planning to quality assurance.
• Conduct technical milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, and resource estimations.
• Share best‑practice knowledge and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, and systems integration.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python or equivalent languages.
• Experience with Java, Springboot, Angular, Python, AWS, REST APIs, Microservices.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, PostgreSQL, Redis, PKI/SSL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, KeyCloak.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, version control, and testing frameworks.
